7th International Advisory Committee Meeting

The School's 7th International Advisory Committee Meeting was held on October 15, 2019 . The committee members, Prof. Philip Altbach, Boston College, Global tertiary education expert Dr. Jamil Salmi, Prof. Marijk van der Wende, Utrecht University, Prof. Gerard A. Postiglione, University of Hong Kong, Prof. HUANG Futao, Hiroshima University, as well as our school's faculty attended the meeting.

Dean LIU Niancai started the meeting with a welcome speech and sincere appreciation to the international advisory board. Faculty from the Center for World-Class Universities (CWCU) and The Center for Student Achievement and Human Development (CSAHD) delivered presentations on their research interests and ongoing projects. The committee members provided feedbacks and offered advice to junior scholars at our school.

The International Advisory Committee is a high-level think tank for strategic development of the school. The committee members, consisting of experts from the higher education and significant international organizations, convene every two years in Shanghai at the site of the WCU conference.
